Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
This practice was created with a clear intention: to offer surgical care that is precise, individualised, and deeply considered.
Surgery is rarely just a procedure — it represents trust, vulnerability, and hope. We are walking this together.
Here, we believe that comprehensive surgery begins long before the operating theatre. It begins with listening. With understanding your goals, your concerns, your medical history, and your unique circumstances. It continues through clear explanation, thoughtful planning, and collaborative decision-making.
At Wisdom Surgery Clinic, we combine:
We collaborate with referring practitioners and allied health professionals aiming to deliver a coordinated and smooth treatment pathway. Our commitment is not simply to perform surgery, but to partner with you through the entire journey, with wisdom and care.
We believe that comprehensive surgical care relies on strong collaboration. We encourage you to ask questions, share concerns early, follow your preparation and recovery instructions as closely as you can, and let us know if anything changes along the way.
When communication is open and care is mutual, well-being is something we all work towards together.

Walking Together
At Wisdom Surgery Clinic, your care follows a considered and transparent process. Here's what you can expect.
We begin by listening. Your concerns, medical history, expectations and goals are explored in detail. Clinical examination and appropriate imaging complement the discussion.
Treatment options are explained clearly, including risks, benefits, alternatives, likely recovery, and costs. You are supported to make an informed decision without pressure.
Your surgical planning is comprehensive and collaborative, involving your other healthcare providers when beneficial to your care. To help you prepare, you will receive clear pre-operative instructions tailored to your specific procedure and health profile.
Procedures are performed in accredited surgical facilities that meet national safety and quality standards. We support you throughout your journey to provide consistent, patient-focused specialist care.
Post-operative care is structured and proactive. We monitor healing, address concerns early, and remain accessible — including a direct number to reach your surgeon.
Where appropriate, we coordinate ongoing care with your referring practitioner and allied health providers after the conclusion of surgery and recovery.
It's an honour to be a partner in your journey.
What We Treat
Routine, surgical, and complex extractions — including fully impacted teeth. Dr Raymond has specialist training in managing teeth in close proximity to the sinuses and nerves, where anatomical awareness and specialist experience count.
Dental implants aim to restore both oral function and appearance where teeth have been lost, with single-tooth, multiple-teeth, or full-arch options available.
Bone grafting and sinus lifts are designed to help restore jaw volume lost to tooth extraction, infection, or injury — aiming to rebuild the foundation required to support a dental implant.
Surgical exposure of unerupted or impacted teeth to support orthodontic treatment and help teeth find their correct position.
Jaw realignment surgery aims to address jaw and facial skeletal discrepancies, to help improve function, bite alignment, and facial harmony. This complex treatment is closely coordinated with your orthodontist.
Biopsies, frenectomies, mucoceles, and other soft tissue procedures performed with care and precision.
Diagnosis and surgical management of cysts, benign tumours, and other lesions affecting bones of the jaw and face — with thorough pathology review and careful follow-up.
Preparing the mouth for dentures or other prosthetic work with ridge smoothing, shaping, and optimisation of the supporting tissues.
Disclaimer: Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks (such as infection, bleeding, graft failure, or nerve damage) and requires formal professional assessment and consultation before deciding or proceeding. Before moving forward, you should seek a second opinion from an independent, appropriately qualified health practitioner.
